Birds in Art, Opening Weekend

I love Wisconsin.  A state that looks like a well groomed Puget Sound.  So many corn fields edged with immaculately trimmed lawns, that I wonder if you could golf from border to border. The weekend at the Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum in Wausau, WI,  was filled with amazing art, great food, and wonderful friends. As a final treat, we were all invited to the founding family's compound at Hazelhurst for a fun afternoon of outdoor activities and barbecue.  The gracious generosity of the Leigh Woodson family, and the hard working museum staff, have made Birds in Art an event which benefits both the community of Wausau and the artists who have been fortunate enough to have been invited. Check it out at https://www.lywam.org/birds-in-art-2017. or even better, visit Wausau!
