Crown Territory

BIG INK is an amazing construct created by Lyell Castonguay. He travels the country, encouraging wood block artists to work bigger and helping them to print their work. I attended a BIG INK workshop at Whiteaker Printmakers in Eugene Oregon where we printed this huge 46x32 inch plate that I had carved for the event. One of only three, this piece recently sold at the, Pyramid Atlantic Art Center, Hyattsville Maryland.
