Mono Lake & Jackson Hole

MONO LAKE CONSERVATION
How wonderful to spend time in the Eastern Sierras!  Lee Vining is the headquarters for the Mono Lake Committee and I will be creating some prints to support their conservation efforts. The Committee was so gracious! I stayed for a week at their field station and Anna Christensen scheduled me to spend time with some of their interns and their head naturalist, Nora Livingston. What a joy!  My head is chock full of information and amazing images of Mono Lake.  Protecting this unique ecosystem is vital and an on-going struggle.  I am hopeful that my prints will aide this effort.

HEADED TO JACKSON HOLE
The Turner Fine Art Gallery has invited me to show with artist Jacob Aguair this Thursday, July 20th 5-8, in Jackson Hole Wyoming.  Equisite Invitation of Light, will be opening on July 20th 5-8 with a demonstration of my reductive print process 3-5. It would be great to see you!

Of course while in the area, any wildlife artist could not resist squeezing in time to explore the Tetons and Yellowstone National Park. What an opportunity!  Jhenna Quinn Lewis and I will be traveling, cameras, and sketchbooks at the ready,  to capture any animal or bird that should cross our paths.
