Rapture!

I am so honored that “Rapture” has been accepted into the Leigh Yawkey Woodson Museum’s 2020, “Birds in Art” exhibit in Wausau, Wisconsin. Thank you to all of the museum staff and the Wausau community, for putting on such a wonderful show and treating your artists like royalty!

The inspiration for this piece was a turkey buzzard named Gilbert who is one of the stars at the High Desert Museum in Bend Oregon. They have a fabulous exhibit where a variety of raptors, including owls, hawks, and falcons, are flown over a very attentive crowd. A must see!
